Idaho Falls Police investigate gun shots

Idaho Falls Police are investigating reports of gun shots heard in the 900 block of Ada Avenue Monday night.

A number of people reported hearing gun shots. Officers located nine bullet casings. A bullet from one shot that had been fired into the ground was located, but there was no other apparent gun shot damage in the area.

No injuries were reported.

Police have not located an individual who may have fired the gun.

A car in the area was vandalized with smashed windows, but the owner stated they had no knowledge of the incident or who could have been involved.
