Rigby man charged for drug possession
A Rigby man was taken into custody just before noon Sunday when he and a female adult were found sleeping in a parked vehicle on private property atop Panorama Hill.
Bonneville County Sheriff’s Office deputies saw drug pipes inside the vehicle.
Luis A. Sanchez-Martinez, 20, of Rigby was also holding a small baggy containing one and a half grams of methamphetamine in his pocket. He told deputies he and the woman had smoked marijuana earlier. He said all the drugs inside the vehicle belonged to him.
Sanchez-Martinez was booked for felony possession of methamphetamine and misdemeanor possession of drug paraphernalia. The woman and vehicle were released.
