Police found Ayairia Anderson on June 12. Anderson, who was eight months pregnant, was inside a car on Industrial Park Drive near Interstate 220. Family members said she was headed home after leaving the restaurant and club Soops, were police say there was an altercation earlier.

She was taken to a hospital, where doctors performed an emergency C-section, but the baby did not survive. Anderson died the next day, according to police.

The McClendon’s attornies also said cellphone towers show they were no were near the club at the time of the shooting.

According to Jackson Police Department, Jshontiez McClendon, 21, and Jmarquiez McClendon, 22, are charged with Murder, Drive-by-Shooting, and Shooting into an Occupied Vehicle.
