Police Investigate Idaho Falls Shooting

The Idaho Falls Police Department is investigating reports of multiple gunshots fired near Sixth Street and S. Lee Avenue Sunday night.

There have been no reports of injuries but one stray bullet struck the west side of a house in the 200 block of Sixth Street.

According to reports, officers were called just after 9 p.m. after shots were fired. Witnesses stated that several men in two SUV?s and a group of Hispanic men on foot arrived in the area and began arguing with each other. The group of men on foot then began firing shots toward the men in the SUVs.

Both groups eventually dispersed and fled from the area.
