Plea Deal Possible For Barbone
There is a possible plea deal in the works in the first degree murder case against Lee Ross Barbone.
Barbone is accused of killing his 7-month-old son earlier this year in Pocatello.
He waived his preliminary hearing Wednesday based on a potential plea deal with the Bannock County Prosecutor’s Office.
The plea deal would mean a life sentence for Barbone, with 10 years fixed in prison. After those 10 years Barbone would potentially be eligible for parole.
Barbone will return to the courthouse Aug. 29 for arraignment.
