Stinker Stores Expands

If you fill up your gas tank at Albertson’s, you might notice some changes over the next couple of months.

Stinker stores, a Boise-based company, is taking over 14 Albertson’s Express Fuel Centers around the state.

The stores will be rebranded as Stinker Stores and will sell Sinclair-brand gasoline and diesel fuel.

Stinker Stores president and co-owner Charley Jones said the change will not get rid of the Albertson’s fuel rewards discount program but will expand the program.

?The advantage is we have 50 other stores in the state of Idaho and nearly all of those stores will honor and accept the gas reward programs,” Jones said.

The acquisition is expected to be complete by the end of November.
