Attorney General Talks Online Safety With Students
Laptops, smartphones and iPads are just some of the ways users get access to the Internet anywhere, anytime.
That puts our kids in danger from online predators.
So Idaho Attorney General Lawrence Wasden spent Wednesday in Rigby talking to junior high and high school students about Internet safety.
He gave them tips on how to properly use social media and how to watch.
“We live in a digital age. There are things facing our students that give them a lot more opportunities as well as a lot more challenges that they have to be prepared to deal with,? Jefferson County Superintendent Dr. Ron Tolman said.
Students were given DVD?s to take home to parents to equip them with a parents guide to social media and an Internet lingo dictionary.
