Two Charged With Forgery, Grand Theft

Pocatello police have arrested two men after they allegedly tried to pass forged checks at ISU Credit Union on Thursday.

Police determined the checks had been taken in a vehicle burglary that occurred at an earlier date.

According to a news release, the officer interviewed two suspects and obtained confessions from them. Jacob J. Juarez and Bartolo J. Sambrano are both charged with grand theft by possession, forgery and vehicle burglary.

They are being held in the Bannock County Jail without bail.
