Police: Man Burglarized Vehicles, Garages In Idaho Falls

Idaho Falls police arrested a 20-year-old man on a charge of burglary Friday after they say he broke into vehicles and garages in the Shamrock Park neighborhood.

Police responded to the 3200 block of Old Castle Circle and the 3000 block of Sandstone on Friday on reports of garage burglaries that occurred sometime the night before. Items reported stolen included cash and two guns.

Police linked Devin James Scholl to the burglaries. Police said Scholl was in possession of other property stolen from other vehicles and residences in the neighborhood. Property recovered included sunglasses, tools, flashlights, backpacks, knives and snow gear.

The case is still under investigation.
