Police Mum On Blackfoot Robbery
Police are investigating what happened inside a Blackfoot home Saturday night after an armed man wearing a mask broke in and demanded money, but they are releasing few details.
Police will not even say at which house the robbery occurred, just the street — Fullmer Lane.
According to police, the robber was holding a gun and wearing a mask when he cornered a man in his garage. From there, he led the man inside the house and gathered the man, his wife and their two preschool-age children. He then demanded money.
The victims said the masked man held them for about a half hour before leaving with the cash.
?He made some statements about not calling the police for a set amount of time,? said Capt. Kurt Asmus. “I believe they agreed and did that. After the time expired, they called.?
Blackfoot police would not release the exact time frame. In fact, they have allowed the station to have only the top page of the incident report.
The available portion of the report includes a very basic description of the man police are looking for, but we have been asked not to report that information at this time.
