Wyoming Unemployment Falls To 5.3%

Wyoming’s seasonally adjusted unemployment rate dropped a tenth of a percent in March to 5.3%. Department of Workforce Services’ Research and Planning Section says that is the seventh consecutive monthly drop.

Most county unemployment remained fairly stable from February to March. Sublette County reported the lowest jobless rate in March (3.5%). The state’s highest unemployment rate was found in Lincoln County (8.9%).

According to a department report, unemployment rates fell in most counties last month, suggesting modest improvement in the state’s economy.
