Body Of Fallen Soldier Returns To Idaho
The remains of an Army soldier who was killed in Black Hawk helicopter crash in Afghanistan were returned to his family in Rupert, Idaho.
Thirty-three-year-old Sgt. Chris J. Workman died April 19 when the helicopter he was in crashed in bad weather during a night flight in southern Afghanistan.
Workman’s body was transferred to his family during a private honorable transfer ceremony at Boise’s Gowen Field on Monday.
A public funeral service is scheduled for Thursday in Eagle, and a public interment is set for Friday in Rupert.
