Suspect arrested for apartment house robbery

Pocatello Police have one suspect in custody and are seeking two others in connection with a robbery at an apartment house Sunday. Shawn Eugene Day, 23, was arrested Sunday night.

Lt. Paul Manning said three suspects entered the apartment at 580 West Clark at approximately 5:09 pm. He said the robbers demanded money and the cell phones of three victims inside the apartment.

At least one of the suspects was carrying a hand gun and used it to strike one of the victims on the head. The victim was not seriously hurt.

Police used a description provided by the victims to obtain a search warrant at a residence in the 5300 block of Lucky, where Day was taken into custody.

The two other suspects remain at large.
