Police identify suspect in hit and run

Police say they have a suspect in a Pocatello hit-and-run that hurt pedestrian over the weekend.

Pocatello police said a woman was crossing Garrett Way on Sunday at about 12:20 a.m. when she was hit by a white Honda Accord traveling east. The driver didn’t stop to help, police said.

On Tuesday, police said two people called in with a tip based on information provided on LocalNews8.com. The suspect has not yet been charged.

Police didn’t say how bad the victim’s injuries were.
