Police: Homeless man chokes woman
A man Idaho Falls police describe as homeless was being held in the Bonneville County Jail on Wednesday on charges of domestic battery and attempted strangulation.
Frank DeWayne Hester, 44, was arrested at a camp trailer in a parking lot in the 700 block of East Anderson at around 5:30 Wednesday morning.
Police said they were called by a 45-year-old female victim who said she and Hester got into a physical confrontation. Police said Hester grabbed the woman, pinned her down on a bed and choked her.
