Huge trailer parked at rest stop
A huge trailer is parked in the Hell’s Half Acre Rest Area on Interstate 15 between Idaho Falls and Blackfoot
Idaho State Police say the trailer, owned by a Texas company, was ordered to stop there because it is too large for the highway.
The trailer contains an oil rig has been there for a couple of weeks. The rig itself weighs 212,000 pounds, according to the manufacturer’s website, http://goo.gl/QIec7.
ISP said the Idaho Transportation Department is working with the company to get the proper permits and move it along while investigating how it made it this far.
