Police want your help to solve hit-and-run

Blackfoot police want your help to find the driver responsible for a hit-and-run last month.

The incident occurred at 12:22 a.m. on Dec. 30.

Someone driving north on Meridian at Jensen Grove Drive failed to stop at the stop sign and slid through the intersection crashing into the fence at the entrance to Jensen’s Grove. The vehicle then left the area. The vehicle looks like a mid- to late-’90s Chevy pickup with an extended cab. The color is difficult to tell from the surveillance video, but it is not dark colored.

There may be damage to the front of the truck to the hood and or front bumper. Damages to the fence were more than $1,500.
