Students prepare for upcoming car show

If you’re a fan of vintage, antique, or classic cars, then some high school students have a surprise for you.

Students at Bonneville School District 93’s Technical Career High School are spending their last semester of the year fixing up cars for their annual car show.

From classics, to newer vehicles and even some you wouldn’t pay anything for, students in the school’s automotive classes are putting their knowledge to use with this hands-on approach.

Teacher, Brad Herbst, said the car show in April is the students’ final grade for the year.

“That’s the idea is to give them the hands-on experience so that those students can get themselves ready for the real world of work,” said Herbst.

The students are still taking applications for those who would like to enter their cars in the show.
