Flu shutters school district
Flu season has hammered one eastern Idaho school district so hard, officials decided to shut school doors for a time.
The Clark County School District released students early Tuesday due to sickness. And the district says so many students were calling in sick that classes were canceled for the rest of the week.
Extra-curricular activities in the district will still go on as scheduled.
The district runs on a four-day week, and it dismissed early last Thursday as well, hoping the long weekend would cut down on the spread of the sickness.
