Power restored for Idaho Falls, Shelley power customers

Power was restored to more than 1,400 Rocky Mountain Power customers in Idaho Falls and Shelley on Tuesday afternoon.

The utility said the outage was caused by a vehicle accident. An RMP representative said originally 158 customers were originally affected, but the company had to take more customers offline to safely make repairs.
