More Bonneville teachers to get pay for performance bonuses

The Bonneville District 93 school board and education association have ratified an agreement that will reward teachers who served part, but not all of the last school year, with a pay-for-performance bonus.

School district spokesperson Shalene French says it affects about five teachers, most of whom worked some of the year, but couldn’t complete it because of illness.

The agreement will provide each with a bonus based on the average compensation received by other teachers in their school. That compensation was based, in part, on a school’s overall performance.
