Big game season 2013

Idaho Fish and Game is asking for your opinion onchanges for the 2013 Big Game Seasons.

Big game, particularly mule deer and elk, have seen an increase in population over the past three years. The gray wolf has also been holding a steady count in population.

In order to handle the situation, Idaho Fish and Game wants you to propose changes to possibly expanding hunting and trapping seasons.

“We’ll be talking to the public about extending seasons, creating seasons in some areas, and creating the number of permits available,” said Gregg Losinski, Regional Conservation Educator for Idaho Fish and Game.

The meeting tonight will be held at 7 p.m. in Rexburg at Madison Middle School’s media center.
