Idaho Falls zoo looking for volunteers

The Tautphaus Park Zoo needs your help.

Zoo administrators are looking for volunteer educators who would help with educational tours of the zoo and outreach programs. Volunteers would also be working with the education animals.

The zoo is making volunteering easy by holding a free informational meeting Thursday at the Idaho Falls Public Library at 6 p.m.The public will hear from coo staff and current volunteers.

You can also fill out an application to become a Volunteer Educator on the Tautphaus Park Zoo’s website at www.idahofallszoo.org – click on the “Volunteer” link on the left side of the page.

Applications can also be picked up at the Zoo’s administrative office between 8 a.m. and 5 p.m. Monday through Friday.

The volunteer educators program applications are due by March 14.
