PD investigates bones found in Idaho Falls backyard
A homeowner on Masters Drive in Idaho Falls called police to report he had found bone fragments while digging to plant a garden in his backyard on Saturday afternoon.
The man said when he found the bones, he also found scraps of clothing.
He reported it to Idaho Falls police, who came to the house and took the bones.
The department says it’s currently investigating.
Police say the bone fragments have been sent to the state crime lab to determine if they’re human.
