Woman attacked on Bannock County trail

A woman was walking her dogs on a Bannock County trail when a man grabbed her, the sheriff’s office said Monday.

According to a news release, the woman was on the South Fork area of Mink Creek on May 31 when the incident occurred.

The dogs protected her by jumping on and biting the man. The suspect, a white male, then ran back to the main roadway.
