Rexburg officer graduates from FBI Academy

A Rexburg police officer graduated from the FBI National Academy.

Lt. Cory Foster graduated from June 14. The 10-week academy in Quantico, Va., consists of advanced training in law enforcement.

The class includes advanced investigative, management, and fitness training for selected officers across the country. Foster is a 19-year veteran of the Rexburg Police Department.

Since it began in 1935, 46,826 officers have graduated from the academy, according to an RPD news release. Of those, 29,313 are still active in law enforcement.
