Student arrested for taking gun to school

A South Fremont High School student was arrested Tuesday morning for taking a handgun to school.

The sheriff’s office said the student was cooperative with the deputy who arrested him.

They discovered the gun when officials at the school received a tip about the student.

No other details were given by the sheriff’s office.
