Liquor store burglarized

Police say the Idaho Liquor Store on First Street in Idaho Falls was broken into early Tuesday morning.

Officers arrived at the store around 12:40 a.m. due to a burglary alarm. They found the east window shattered. Officers found no one inside, but 11 bottles of liquor were stolen.

Surveillance footage obtained by Local News 8 shows three people in hoodies hurling rocks through the window, then entering the store.

The stolen and damaged booze is estimated to be worth $150, while the broken window will cost $800 to replace.

Police are continuing to investigate this. If you have any information, call police at (208) 529-1200 or Crimestoppers at 522-1983.
