American Falls principal to run against Tom Luna

Longtime American Falls principal Randy Jensen is in the running for State School Superintendent.

Jensen plans to challenge incumbent Tom Luna in the May primary. Jensen said he has filed a campaign treasurer notice with the Secretary of State’s office and plans to run as a Republican. An official announcement event will be held in Boise on Friday.

Jensen grew up in Pocatello and has been a principal for 25 years. He said he is running because he is concerned about the future of students in Idaho.
