Escaped inmates caught in Wash.

The men who escaped from the North Idaho Correctional Institution in Cottonwood are back in custody.

Caleb Joe Thomas, 20, and Ridge Scott Dains, 21, were captured by driving a stolen vehicle near Walla Walla, Wash., the Idaho Department of Correction said in a news release Monday.

The two were discovered missing early Saturday morning.

Thomas’ criminal record includes first-degree arson and grand theft, and Dains’ criminal record includes burglary.

They will be returned to Idaho County and will face the possibility of new charges related to their escape.
