U.S. marshals look for stabbing suspect
The Bonneville County man wanted for allegedly stabbing his son and threatening his daughter-in-law earlier this month is probably out of the area, authorities said Thursday.
Bonneville County Sheriff’s Office spokesman Sgt. Jeff Edwards said the U.S. Marshal’s Office had been contacted to aid in the search.
According to a news release, deputies were called to an apartment above a horse arena on 97 South at around 11:15 p.m.Myer’s son and daughter-in-law were visiting with him.
Myers got a phone call and became upset.At one point he pointed a gun at his daughter-in-law, the sheriff’s office said. His son, of Blackfoot, stepped in between them and was stabbed in the left arm with a knife.
Myers is described as being 5 feet 9 inches tall, weighs about 175 pounds, has brown hair and eyes.
