Law enforcement respond to reports of gun shots in Jackson
Law enforcement agencies responded to reports of gun shots in Jackson Sunday morning. Jackson Police said around 8:20 a.m. dispatch received reports of shots fired with possible injuries.
Jackson Police Officers, Teton County Sheriff’s Deputies and Wyoming Highway Patrol officers responded to the area of Smith’s Grocery Store and High School Road. Authorities said when they arrived at the scene they determined that no shots had been fired, no guns were involved and no injuries occurred.
Authorities later determined that the driver of a vehicle had rammed another vehicle more than once. They said the driver of the vehicle was behaving in an erratic manner. She was later taken into custody and her name has not been released. The driver of the other vehicle does not know the suspect.
