Poll: People in Wyo., Idaho trust state government
A recent Gallup poll is the first to gauge how trusting folks are of their state government.
In Wyoming, 76 percent of people said they had a great deal or fair amount of trust in the people they’ve elected, putting the Cowboy State into the No. 2 spot.
Wyoming was only behind North Dakota by 1 percent.
Utah, South Dakota, and Nebraska weren’t far behind.
Idaho still has what is considered an “above-average trust” with 65 percent of Idahoans saying they are trusting of their state government.
Folks in Illinois trust their state government to handle their state’s problems far less than residents in any other state – at 28 percent.
