2 hospitalized in Pocatello crash
Two people were in the hospital Monday after an SUV T-boned their pickup, flipping it on its side.
The truck crossed over two lanes of traffic and was struck by a white SUV in the median.
Pocatello police and fire departments responded to North Yellowstone as witnesses tried to pry a man trapped in his truck. He was the only person not wearing his seat belt, authorities said.
“Two were able to get themselves out. There was an unrestrained passenger who was trapped with his knees and arm under the vehicle,” said Battalion Chief Curtis Smith.
Of the three people in the truck, two were taken to the hospital, including the driver.
The sole person in the SUV didn’t sustain any severe injuries.
Investigators are looking into the cause of the crash.
