Fort Hall woman killed in crash

A Fort Hall woman has died of injuries from a one-car crash at Siler and Edmo roads in the Fort Hall town site at 10:30 p.m. Tuesday.

Fort Hall police said Sha Lynn Shoyo, 18, was ejected from her vehicle and found unconscious in a field. She was not wearing a seat belt, according to a news release from the Shoshone-Bannock Tribes.

Shoyo was transported to Portneuf Medical Center where she died of injuries sustained in the crash.

The accident is still under investigation by Fort Hall police.
