‘Playin’ Safe’ for Subway

Kids in Bonneville County and the City of Pocatello, listen up!

Subway is teaming up with the Bonneville County Sheriff’s Office and the Pocatello Police Department for the “Playin’ Safe” campaign.

Beginning July 21, deputies and officers will award kids who are playing safe with $3 Subway cash cards, redeemable at any Idaho location.

Sgt. Jeff Edwards with the Bonneville County Sheriff’s Office said when Subway approached him with the idea, he jumped at the opportunity. Edwards also said deputies have hundreds of cash cards for kids playing safe.

“Riding a bike with a helmet on, crossing the street at crosswalk, wearing a life preserver while out on a boat, or a motorcycle helmet when using a four-wheeler in the hills, you know,” said Edwards.
