One man killed in Grand Teton National Park car crash

One man was killed when his 2002 Buick sedan drove down an embankment a mile north of the Grand Teton National Park Moose entrance station.

Park rangers said Bernardo Bravo, 45, who recently moved to Jackson from Phoenix, Arizona, died early Wednesday morning.

A passerby reported seeing a single car tire in the road at 4:55 a.m.A park maintenance worker caught sight of Bravo’s vehicle lying on its top down the embankment a short time later.Rangers determined Bravo had been thrown from the vehicle and died at the crash.

Investigation is continuing. There were reports of heavy fog in the area at the time of the crash.
