Teton County warns of voter registration scam

Election officials in Teton County, Wyoming, are warning of a scam involving a person or multiple people going door-to-door collecting personal information under the guise of conducting a voter registration drive.

The Teton County Elections Office said Wyoming law doesn’t permit these drives.

In order to become a registered voter in Teton County, you must appear in person at the elections office or register at the polling location.

If you run into someone who says they’re registering voters, the elections office asks that you give them a call at 307-733-4430.
