Annual ISBA Fall meeting held in Rigby

The Idaho School Boards Association held its annual fall meeting Tuesday night in Rigby

Local school board members and superintendents discussed resolutions with area legislators and answered questions. The resolutions discussed will be voted on by the state’s entire membership in November.

Jessica Harrison, the policy and government affairs director, said it’s an important meeting for education in Idaho.

“Those that pass become part of our legislative platform and we go down to the Legislature in January and try to get those initiatives moved forward into legislation,” said Harrison.

The statewide ISBA convention will be held Nov. 12-14 in Boise.
