Local store feels like Halloween year round
A store in Idaho Falls has “curious things for curious people,” and its owner says it’s not as scary as some think.
The owner of Shaddow Domain said she decided to open the store because she couldn’t find other things like this in town.
“Come in because there’s a lot of fun stuff in here, and we’re not near as scary as people think we are,” said owner Julie Oliver. “We just pretty much like the whole Halloween atmosphere, but we like just having fun with the little darker side of life.”
Shaddow Domain tries to be unique with the products it carries. It has everything from top-of-the-line costume makeup and vampire fangs to masks made by local artists. The store also has memorabilia from horror movies and TV shows.
Oliver said the store is a little hard to describe, and the best way to understand it is by stopping in at its location on 175 S. Eastern Ave. in Idaho Falls.
