Reward offered for body of man killed in shooting

The Fort Hall Business Council is offering a $5,000 reward for information leading to the recovery of the body of Darrell Auck. Fort Hall Police believe Auck was killed on or about Oct. 15, but his body was never found.

Police were called to the Anthony Ish home on East Agency Road at 12:45 a.m. by an anonymous caller. Officers said they found evidence outside the home indicating someone was hurt. Witnesses told investigators that Ish, 32, shot Auck, 44, outside the home.

A tribal arrest warrant was issued for Ish for assault with a deadly weapon. Ish was arrested at the home and was being held at the Fort Hall Correction Center.

Police said Ish will face federal charges. The investigation is being conducted by Fort Hall Police Department and FBI.

People with information may contact the Fort Hall Police Department at (208) 478-4000. Callers with information may remain anonymous.
