Rigby man dies in logging accident
Authorities have released the name of the man who died in a logging accident in the Mud Springs area of Madison County on Thursday.
The sheriff’s office said Kevin Hansen, 44, of Rigby, worked for Fisher Logging. He was trying to stop a logging truck that was rolling forward, and he was pinned into a log pile around 1:30 p.m.
Other employees moved the truck and started CPR on Hansen, but neither they nor emergency personnel could revive him.
