Tyler Marlowe: Distinguished Student

Tyler Marlowe is a natural leader with many other talents.

Music is a big part of Tyler Marlowe’s life. He’s involved in choir and is an accomplished soloist. Tyler has won many awards at district and state singing competitions.

“It’s really an adrenalin rush.” Marlowe said. “There’s no other thing in my life that I’ve done besides music that can give that feeling inside. It’s just so exciting and so powerful.”

Marlowe has another passion in school — cross country

“I really like to compete in running,” Marlowe said. “There are few things like finishing a race and crossing the finish line and knowing you’ve given it your all.”

Marlowe is also a stellar student. He has a 4.0 GPA and got a score of 34 on the ACT and 2040 on the SAT.

“There’s nothing more important right now in my life than doing well in school,” Marlowe said. “School comes first. That’s a personal decision that I’ve made in my life to be able to learn all that I can. I love learning. I think every day has opportunities for me to learn and to grow and to become a better person, but not only for me to be a better person, but for me to reach out to others and help them do the same.”
