Thousands pack stores in eastern Idaho

Eastern Idahoans got a head start on Black Friday shopping as many stores opened Thanksgiving evening.

In Pocatello, more than 500 people flooded JCPenney when it opened at 5 p.m. in search of discounts of up to 75 percent off.

Shoppers were also handed coupons, and Local News 8 spoke to one woman who got $100 off her purchases.
