Freddy’s opens in Idaho Falls Wednesday
Freddy’s Frozen Custard and Steakburgers in Idaho Falls will open its doors to the public Wednesday, but a select group got a sneak peak Tuesday.
Friends, family and nearby businesses got their first taste of Freddy’s on Tuesday.
The franchise’s Idaho Falls location is its third in the state. Owner Brad Williams said it was built in just 89 days.
“Which is a new record for my stores,” said Williams, who owns seven Freddy’s.
Tuesday, employees got their last bit of practice before the grand opening. Williams said about 85 employees were hired over the last few weeks.
“Everyone’s got their own way of doing things, but we like Freddy’s way,” said Williams.
Customer Liz Sedall said the menu fills a void in Idaho Falls.
“I’ve been craving a custard place for years, so the custard and the steakburgers is what sets it apart,” said Sedall.
The store is located at355 N Woodruff Ave in front of WinCo Foods.
