Pebble Creek latest ski area to close early
The Pebble Creek Ski Area has become the latest to close for the ski season.
Pebble Creek is usually open each year until the end of March, but a lack of snow and dwindling traffic prompted officials to close it this weekend.
The ski area joins a number of other ski spots that have closed early this year including Kelly Canyon and the East Fork Mink Creek Nordic Center.
Richard Anthill, president of the Pocatello Ski Association, said he’s noticed an increasing number of ski resorts closing early in the last five years.
