Cabela’s Great Outdoor Days

Hunting season is on its way and Cabela’s is making sure you are prepared. The Idaho Falls store is hosting its Fall Great Outdoor Days through the weekend.

Cabela’s will provide free seminars to teach how to be safe this hunting season. Vendors will show some of the techniques in water purification, and how to bear-proof your campsites. They will also have Dutch oven cooking and a BB gun shooting range hosted by the Hunter’s Safety program.

Cabela’s general manager Curtis Smith said,”We got people doing elk calls, we got people teaching the elk calls, the shooting and the archery. So the basic part is just getting everything that you need for that hunt. So you don’t get out there and wish you had those items, and that’s what we’re doing here today.”

These seminars will end this weekend, but the Cabela’s Great Outdoor Days Sale will continue for the next two weeks.
