Solar generator sales on the rise
The Inergy Solar team in Pocatello has been selling this product for over a year, and it’s becoming highly in demand.
“The big difference is that gas generators have limited power support. Most people don’t know is that when the power is out, you can’t pump gas. So when the power runs out, you have marked improvement with a solar generator over a regular generator,” said Marketing Director, Jared Grover.
And that’s only half the capabilities this “solar in box” can provide. You can power the box from a wall outlet, car battery, or solar panel from outside. It provides consumers outlets for all power sources, such as, cell phones, RVs, cigarette lighter outlet, and USBs.
CEO of Inergy Solar, Sean Luangrath says during a power outage, it can power your TV, microwave, refrigerator, and more for hours.
The solar box and the panel is available for sale on their website, and is a bit pricy, costing roughly $1,200, but Luangrath says it’s a lot less than your conventional generator sources. He says they will allow financing soon as well.
The company is proud for reaching their goal of $50,000 through a funding site within 30 days to help jump start mass production. Luangrath says they hope to mass produce overseas and start selling in local sporting good stores soon.
