Idaho Falls Exchange Club Contributes to the Military Affairs Committee

Today the Idaho Falls Exchange Club presented the Military Affairs Committee with a check for $4,300. The money will be used by the seven local groups that make up the committee to support the local veterans.

Bill Sewell, Chairman for the Idaho Falls Exchange club made the donation today at Dixie’s Diner. The club holds event through the year to raise money for child abuse prevention and veterans groups.

“Military Affairs Committee for years has been sort-of leader in the other fundraising activities that are involved with supporting our veterans. That’s our main cause and this is our way of expressing support to the vets,” Sewell said.

Sewell said that the committee has held this activity four times in the past.
