Nampa man dies in Power County crash
The Power County Sheriff’s office says a one-vehicle crash on June 24th left one Nampa man dead.
On June 24, the Power County Sheriff’s received a 911 report of a one vehicle rollover on I-86 near milepost 22. Deputies responded to the area and located a white Ford F-150 off the right shoulder of the westbound lane. Deputies located the driver still in the seat of the truck. The male driver, who was later identified as 44-year-old Kirby A. White of Nampa, was pronounced dead at the crash site.
During the course of the investigation, it was determined that the vehicle had been traveling east on I-86 and had drifted off the right shoulder of the roadway. The vehicle then came back onto the roadway skidding across both of the eastbound lanes of travel and started to roll into the median. The vehicle then rolled through the westbound lanes of travel coming to rest off the right shoulder of the westbound lanes.
At this time the Power County Sheriff’s Office is still investigating the crash.
